At a time of enormous change, it can be so valuable to have space to connect with others and reflect on how you are doing and ways you might be able to care for yourself, as well as your child(ren). These relaxed Writing for Wellbeing workshops are open to anyone who feels ‘new’ to being a Mum, whatever age your little one is.
‘Matrescence is the physical, emotional, hormonal and social transition to becoming a mother.’
Thanks to support from the Arnold Clark Community Fund these workshops are low cost with a suggested donation of £3-5 per session, but there is no obligation at all, donations will be anonymous.
Babies & toddlers welcome, as are tears, mess, laughter and openness! Drinks will be provided and you can bring your own notebook or use our paper and pens. Every Mum will receive a Blue & You Journal to take away for moments of writing at home.
You can find our more about the benefits of Writing for Wellbeing here.
It would be beneficial to come to as many of the six sessions as possible, but feel free to just book those you can make. There will be a waiting list, so whilst we of course understand that last minute moments happen, if you do know you’re not going to make it, please ‘cancel’ so someone else can have the space.
We'll be meeting at 33 Church St (Huddle Cafe) except for the 12th August session when we will meet at Sunshine Cafe in Penryn (TBC). These are both pram-friendly (Huddle has a small step but we can help you in!)
BOOK HERE and please do share with anyone you think would benefit from these sessions.
Look forward to writing with you soon!
